Jessie Askinazi is a New York City and South Florida-based multidisciplinary creative.

She works across photography, poetry, performance, mixed media, curatorial projects, and creative direction. Her work inhabits the space between conscious and unconscious states, revealing hidden emotional landscapes. Through oneiric and dreampunk frameworks, she interrogates persona and self-limiting perceptions, opening pathways toward transformation.

Jessie’s practice unfolds through an ongoing dialogue with the arts and letters, rejecting straightforward storytelling in favor of experimental collage—where meaning emerges through fragmentation rather than linear narrative..

She received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Interdisciplinary Studies from Florida Atlantic University, with a primary concentration in English and secondary concentrations in Communications and Gender Studies. She graduated summa cum laude and served as Co–Editor-in-Chief of the university’s literary magazine, Coastlines.

Entering the Heart with Metta Meditation
Metta meditation, or loving-kindness meditation, is a Buddhist practice for cultivating unconditional love, compassion, and goodwill for oneself and all beings. Practitioners start with themselves, then extend well wishes to loved ones, neutral people, difficult individuals, and finally to all beings, helping to reduce stress, increase empathy, and foster positive emotions.
